Aleksandra, better known as Lex, is a wealthy Russian-American "blessed" woman that uses she/her pronouns. Her school life was largely dictated in path by her affluent parents, but she has since found out how to make it her own. Their request was for her to study in fashion so she could enter the industry and start a profitable business. She was only truly okay with it when she realized she could fill the gaping void left by a lack of womens' clothes with decently sized pockets. In the meantime, she dedicates herself to political activism, righting whatever wrongs she can when not swamped with studies. Burning the candle at both ends is a way of life, with a large portion of her food expenses going towards caffeinated beverages of all sorts; particularly coffee.

However, Lex possesses a "blessing" that allows her to set herself on fire with little adverse effect. This couples quite nicely with an almost explosive temper that still gets the best of her despite her best efforts. When ablaze, her silhouette changes to the downright monstrous, adopting claws and fangs, all other features--human features--obscured by flames. Her "blessing" makes an already difficult social life nearly impossible. If potential friends aren't frightened off by her dogged ability to stand up for herself, the idea of being scorched to cinders is a very powerful deterrent.

So of course someone like Lex would be worried if one of her only real friends disappeared off the face of the map. Her self-appointed bestie began acting even more strangely than usual, hardly able to speak above a mutter when saying there was a "death in the family" and that she needed to go "pay respects." Lex kept quiet at the moment, but took note of the address her friend was heading off to. When the time came, she too headed there, driving for what felt like an eternity. But eternity was short-lived, as she had arrived at her destination. Before her laid a manor seemingly lost in time, and a forest enshrouded in an impossibly thick fog. Just looking at the ghastly place felt like she was being held to a blowtorch, but her eyes were drawn to a familiar trinket twinkling just by the forest's entrance. This had to be the place.
