Ghost is an anxious wreck of an individual and extremely difficult to get close to, especially off of the Internet.

A split off from Vivi, the previous host, Ghost holds a lot of the negative and anxious traits that she used to push down, and acts as their system's means of protection and their fight or flight response. As a result of this, Ghost is always on edge, unless around a trusted individual. They are quick to flee, and even quicker to cry, seemingly bothered by most things, people in general being one of them. They often get mistaken in public for a lost kid, due to their attitude and size.

Underneath the terrified outer shell, though, lies a warm and sweet personality that craves intimacy, closeness, and approval. Ghost cares very deeply and loves strongly, but has difficulty expressing themself. Communication through text is much easier for them, and they will avoid speaking to most people directly where they can. When they do speak, their voice is very soft and gentle, like a whisper, and they stammer and trail off frequently. Most people have a hard time hearing them, unfortunately. They will get discouraged when asked to repeat themself and fall silent instead.

Ghost's blessing has led them to prefer the company of animals over humans, for the most part. They feel significantly less anxious when speaking to them, and feel better understood, especially by gentle-mannered and prey animals. They have a soft spot for rodents and deer in particular. Fellow animal-lovers and those who are kind to animals will gain favor with them, and they are more inclined to trust people if their pets have good things to say about them.

Despite all of Ghost's issues, if you can respect their boundaries and practice patience and gentleness with them, they will come to slowly trust you. Their desire to change and have close, meaningful relationships definitely outweighs their standard anxiety with people, if you extend an open and welcoming hand to them.

BLESSING OF THE EMPATH

Ghost's primary blessing is a simple one that grants them the ability to understand and speak with animals of varying sentience and communicability. This blessing gives them insight into environmental issues, including through nature and local ecosystems, as well as family dynamics in the case of pets. While on the surface it might seem tame and of minimal use, this blessing also has the bonus effect of animals being more inclined to trust Ghost and their system. In times of distress, even if they don't call for help themself, Ghost's system will subconsciously alert nearby animals, who will come to their aid.

BLESSING OF THE MASK

The secondary blessing that Ghost possesses is of more immediate and practical use. This blessing allows Ghost to put on a different "mask", so to speak! What this means is that Ghost's system is capable of changing how they are perceived by those around them, in many ways. As it's mostly subconscious and influenced on emotion, they don't often realize that they're doing it, but it's the primary reason why Vivi's voice, for example, sounds so different from Ghost's. This extends to physical perception as well; Ghost's system will typically change their perception to others to the favorite animal of the currently fronting alter when distressed, but they have been known to do this voluntarily as well. The most unnoticeable aspect of this blessing subtly influences others' feelings around Ghost, too, though their system is largely unaware of this perk.
