Cain

Powerful cat demon, changer of luck. :>

Cain's powers reside in those that he has learned. On top of being a cat demon, which means he can talk to felines and their relatives in all their languages, he also has the ability to heal them or borrow life force. Cain is all the qualities and personality of what you would expect of a typical cat, but he is also very compassionate and good. Outside of play, he only attacks if he must and tries to avoid conflict. He has the ability to wander all the realms freely and because of this he has an expansive thirst for knowledge. Once he learns something that is akin to history, lore, or magic, it goes into his magic book that is never ending and only he has the ability to control.  Cain's ability to borrow feline life force doesn't neccissarily kill the one he borrows from, but it does leave them feeling drained and sleepy. If Cain uses it for an attack, he will have to store back up the energy to give it back. If he uses it for defence, he can give it back immediately after. His thirst for knowledge is directly influenced by his desire to learn mage magic, so he doesn't have to rely upon his feline magic as heavily. As of right now, the only mage magic he has mastered is that of water- but he's trying to learn nature/plant magic next. 

While Cain is presents as male 90% of the time, he does consider himself genderfluid and has the ability to change his outward appearance to reflect this. He doesn't care what pronouns are used and is pretty easy going. I'm unsure at this point if there will be much of a change when presenting as female, I thought about giving her long hair- but we will see. Girls have short hair too. I kinda like the idea of giving her Haruka vibes (from sailor moon).

Relationships: He is in love with Njola, but due to her abuse from her past she only tolerates him. He understands and is happy to remain friends for as long as it takes, even if it never takes. Cain brings out the protective side of Njola.
