Kingdom Fealty to Roseiline and its Dragon rulers

He looks like an ass (and if you aren't one of the Royal Dragon overlords, he WILL act like an ass) but he's a total lowkey pushover all things Shirah.

It was a dream come true to be able to serve under the Royals so closely; Dauphin used to have a family-- a doting wife and several children.  ... Becoming the head guard swiftly lost his right to have the chance to see them again (and that is not entirely literal; Dauph knew what he was getting into and did it anyway, obsessed with his position and the Dragon-Royals more than his personal life allowed).

At first he was both of the twin's bodyguard, but eventually one outgrew his company-- or rather, said he didn't need it. Dauph was more than happy to stay with Shirah only from then on. But that was a good century ago...

He is quite a studied man, and that was how he originally climbed the Royal guard's ladder so fast, but Shirah takes up literally every waking hour now. He doesn't have much room anymore to flex his smarts or even study up on classic and contemporary history- subjects that intrigue him. As he has not been at the warfront in a very long time, it isn't his place to even speak a word about it, as law of his career dictates.

In his heart, now, nothing matters more than taking care of Royal Shirah. It is wise to understand how deep his fealty to the Dragon Royals go-- death in their name almost seems divine.

TRIVIA AND NOTES:
-Born June 30th ( ♋ )
-Despite how their relationship may come off, Dauphin and Shirah are not mated and have never made 'a move' toward one another (well, the Royal hasn't. But also, the bodyguard knows his place).
-Often wonders if the Royals shift their height to seem smaller than the Elven guards for several strategic reasons...
-Tastes all of Shirah's drinks despite the Dragon-shifter being immune to poisons. He has only fallen ill due to this once, and it wasn't poison, it was a curse (so he did save Shirah).
... He lost count of all the assassination attempts he has thwarted successfully.

"My life-- my spirit-- is yours, Shirah."
