  Thym joined the Arcturus guild as Basil's apprentice after being discovered by him, stowing away on an Arcturus airship.  While they do a good job of deflecting questions about their origin or past, Thym does open up frequently to Basil as well as the rest of their many friends in the guild emotionally, often disregarding general social boundaries in their attempts to befriend everyone.  Thym is very bad at focusing on their studies, but excels at hands on projects, especially in the area of engineering.  They can be extremely childlike at times, with all the ups and downs that accompany.  Their friends are cheered and inspired by their imagination and young spirit, while mentors and authorities are often frustrated by their sarcastic attitude and stubbornness.
