Bio

Kavina Lonn is a young Djragoni hunter, born and residing in the same lakeside village as Zyra. She is the youngest member of the tribe's hunting party, on par with the leader in terms of skill and dexterity. 

All her life she was raised to be a hunter, hailing from a creed of Ulecian Djragoni notorious for being warriors. Trained in combat and survival, Kavina's weapon of choice is the axe, and is often seen with her trusty hatchet. She's a bit trigger-happy when it comes to hunting, but knows the limit and saves her true ferocity for the field. She does her work with pride, having honed her skills to near perfection and gaining a reputation as an extremely proficient hunter at a young age. She treasures her role in the tribe's hunting party, feeling fulfilled doing something for her tribe so essential. And shortly after being recruited into the hunting party, she is chosen as the tribe leader's apprentice, an honor given only to young hunters with very promising potential. However it's a bittersweet honor for the two, for the leader's child Zyrathen was supposed to receive the role. But given the circumstances, Kavina accepts the position in his place with honor. And when she's not killing, Kavina is very laid-back and enjoys jokes and mischief.

Only a season older than Zyra, Kavina has known him for as long as she can remember. At a very young age, she chose to befriend him after seeing him troubled by misfortune and being picked on by the other children for being weaker. She felt a need to protect him from the many dangers that would constantly plague him. Ever since, the two have been close companions. Despite her ferocious reputation, Kavina is extremely gentle around Zyra. She respects his pacifist morals and aversion to meat, reserving her desire to kill in favor of picking wildflowers and eating berries. When she learns Zyra is leaving to fulfill the perilous rite-of-passage, she feels inclined to either stop him or accompany him in some way. Alas, he isn't swayed and the rules insist he must go alone. Regardless, Kavina waits, thinking of a way she can help him after a long time of worrying and that urge to protect only getting more intense.

Still quite young, Kavina hopes to be a peace warrior when she becomes an adult. The recent invasion of Visitors and rising conflicts has many Djragoni on edge about safety and tribes in need of warriors. Kavina wants nothing more than to ensure the protection of her tribe amid troubling times, but still lacks the experience. Under the wing of the leader Yitina, she trains daily to be a deadly warrior and a master hunter. She also spends time with her best friend Zyra, sharing leisurely moments and on occasion chasing away dangers. His mother, her master, is very encouraging of their friendship and happy to see someone looking after her child. Perhaps.....too encouraging at times. But Kavina cherishes her friendship with Zyra and her role as a guardian, along with her greater role among the tribe. Little does she know that her role becomes much more important when Zyra journeys to Earth and she chooses to take matters into her own hands.
