Kris

A wanderer from an unknown land, Kris guards themselves, their past, and their secrets with all their might. Venturing from place to place, they come as often as they go, typically leaving with more enemies than friends. Armed with a a bow and quiver of arrows, a simple dagger, fire magic, and unsheathed claws, they can and will fight all those who get close, save Zephyr, their companion and familiar.

Despite their cold and often hostile personality, Kris generally means no harm, and ultimately wishes nothing more than to find a place where they feel they can truly be wanted, accepted, and themselves. When they care for others, they care with all their heart and put all their trust in them - This has worked against them multiple times in their life, however, and they've found themselves with deep-seated issues surrounding trust and intimacy which affect their relationships to this day. The failures and wrongdoings of their past haunt them at all times, and the guilt and blame placed on their shoulders by themselves and others has led them to believe that they are a bad person, and that, for the sake of both themselves and those around them, they are better off alone.

Though they will never admit it, this is far from their first form, having altered their shape multiple times before in vain attempts to escape their past and start anew.
