Slime

Slime can change their form in order to lure their prey, after which they engulf and absorb their victim. Once their mass grows unmanageable, they divide into smaller slime in a process similar to mitosis. While immune to physical attacks, a single magic attack to their core will destroy them. Due to their ability to reproduce exponentially and their relative easy to kill, novice adventures are often assigned to quests to cull their numbers.
