THE CONJUNX SQUAD

A disaster polycule, Shocks, Blastlane, and Drop-Groove aren’t officially conjunxes, but might as well be at this point; this trio has been through hell and back for each other.

Through unusual circumstances, the squad gets stranded on a desolate, backwater arctic planet during the early stages of the war, pre-Exodus. At first, they try to call for help, but it becomes increasingly clear that no one is coming. The planet itself is all kinds of hostile; A frozen wasteland teaming with things that are pissed off at the mechanical intruders. In the end, Blast, Shocks, and DG are the only survivors.

"Canon" Storyline

Post-Exodus, they get found and rescued by a group of fleeing Autobots. Thing is, this crew has a pretender in their midst; Makeshift. A Decepticon spy with the ability to take any bot’s form. He studies his targets for long periods, to ensure an accurate impersonation. His weakness turns out to be the very unpredictable trio, who are able to sniff him out due to being so familiar with each other.

Profile

he/him, modded flier & triple-changer
squad captain & defense specialist
Dark, navy blue paint job. Fiery blue optics. Has twin Autobrands, located on his hips.

  • Dorky fratbro energy. Excitable, competitive, and a little cocky, but he's good-natured about it. Really sweet and understanding, and is always there for his friends. Likes to cause trouble, but never in a mean-spirited way. Positive outlook, realistic expectations. Loyal to a fault.

    • Gets really talkative and super expressive when he's drunk.
    • The most openly affectionate out of the three.
    • As squad leader, he feels most responsible for “letting” so many of his other squadmates die.
    • Has Dissociative Identity Disorder / DID, and had learned to mask when in robot mode. (Though, he's thrown masking to the wayside since being stranded.)
      • Referred to collectivly as "(The) System Shocks." (Which is where Shocks, the primary host, got his name.)
      • Some alters are introjects of of his deceased squad members.
      • Due to how a cybertronian's alt-mode(s) create their own unique neural pathways for transformation, while each alter is not inherently exclusive to one single alt-mode, physically transforming often causes specific one(s) associated with that mode to front.
