Karn lived a big part of his life in a troll tribe with his father and his brother. They were all warriors. While his father and brother were active fighters, Karn was a teacher. It was just when the tribal wars became more intense that he was also called to fight. He led a unit, consisting mostly of his former students, under the instructions of his father. When things started settling down, Karns behavior started to change. He became less friendly with his family and friends, then he started avoiding them. He divorced from Maente during this time. Eventually he left his tribe, and he has lived by himself ever since.
