Roux opened her own restaurant at a very young age, focusing around french cuisine with a modern day southern twist. It instantly won awards for it’s charm, excellent food, and hospitality. For many years Roux ran at the top of the culinary world chain, working 20 hour days and never stopping to give herself a break. Unfortunately, this lead to her inevitable burn-out only 8 years into her career. After her fall from stardom, Roux decided that the simple life where she could give back to her community at a slower pace would be perfect. Now Roux runs a local charity that donates hot meals to those in need. She will often get out into the field and go cook the meals herself too, enjoying the moments when she can put an apron back on and spend time with the family she is cooking for.
