Gisllaine

Gisllaine is an old Bruce who has many stories to tell. Despite having a heart of gold, she is a quiet and mysterious Bruce of few words and expressions. Nobody really knows when feeling happy, sad, ashamed… or any other emotions is really. However, everyone knows of her grumpy character and her tendency to feel bored easily. Gisllaine is someone who is willing to aid anyone who genuinely needs a helping hand in magic, yet she does not trust anyone deeply despite being friends with them. This witch lives by herself, isolated in Haunted Woods, and within close reach of the plains of Faerieland where the two realms are divided by a river. She holds an ever-longing sense of disgust for her only neighbour, Puria, for being an overly talkative Mynci. Puria is almost the opposite half of Gisllaine, a character full of cheerfulness and bountiful energy, and the only reason Gisllaine has yet to rid of her yet is because of the Mynci's kind and helpful nature.

Gisllaine is always seen holding a broom that is old, crooked and seemingly worthless, yet this appearance is far from its true magical powers (the true appearance of the wand is this one on the right). Her broom was made such in order to fool petty thieves and to prevent it from being stolen by such silly crooks. This old Bruce is very smart, isn't she?

 This witch has many amazing legends and stories to tell, but adamantly refuses to speak a word relating to her own story. Nobody knows why this is so and her own story continues to be a mystery, and even she seems frustrated by her past. The only information that is known is that it involves Puria's father, and somehow it led to her becoming almost like a permanent nanny to the Faerie Mynci. Gisllaine certainly did something very wrong to receive this punishment.

Has also an unusual hobby. She enjoys cultivating dead flowers because of her fondness for their dark colours. Gisllaine also has to constantly deal with evil monsters; not only because of the fact that she lives on the frontier of Haunted Woods, but also in order to prevent them from attacking nearby villages. In addition, her house is nothing short of brilliant. From the outside, any passerby would just assume that it is a dilapidated and abandoned house that is ready to fall apart anytime soon. However, upon entering her humble abode, it is actually the size of a mansion with many staircases, rooms, libraries, flying objects and brooms sweeping the floors by themselves. All of this is due to her brilliant magic powers.

 Her arch-enemy is Lara, Both of them are veteran witchcraft users. While Lara only uses her talent to cause havoc with her potions, Gisllaine only raises her wand when she needs to help someone in need. Needless to say, this mean that Lara is the naughty girl, Gisllaine is the good girl.

Appearance

- She wears a black, pointed witch hat and a long-sleeve black dress. Her hat has an orange sash and she always wears an old scarf. She has short purple hair and three orange freckles on her cheeks. Gisllaine is chubby, short and old, and always barefooted. She is mostly seen holding her broom with a bored or vexed face.
