Aulsius Aberlianus

A turian infiltrator with the 26th Armiger Legion of the Turian Imperial Army. Friendly and laid-back, he hides deep insecurities and powerful ambition behind a haze of alcohol and promiscuity.

Raised by his mother and her parents, Aulsius never met his father, but learned when he was five that he was a famous general when he saw the man in the vids and his mother wanted him to know what kind of person he was. The general used his rank to get whatever he wanted, including sex, with little care for the consequences; he had skipped town shortly after a one-night stand with Aulsius's mother, and she was unable to get in contact with him once she learned she was pregnant. From his attitude and how practiced at it he seemed, she had little doubt Aulsius had half-siblings he would never know about. Aulsius was an intelligent child, well aware of what his mother put herself through for his sake, and was infuriated at the idea that anyone, particularly an officer, could be so callous. He has been determined to make general himself ever since, for two reasons: the first, to prove to himself he can be a better officer and a better man than his father, and the second, to prove it to his mother. Unfortunately, he fears that in sharing similar vices with his father -- booze and sex, with a healthy bout of gambling -- he has already failed.
