Stoni

Stoni is a shop owner in a small town called Riverstone. The main customers he gets are adventurers and fighters traveling to the city. He loves hearing their stories and will even give them a discount or the item for free if he likes the story enough. He’s also a small-time adventurer himself though he tends to try and avoid encounters with monsters because he hates killing. He finds valuable items on his adventures and sells them back in his store. He gets along with the local blacksmith Kindel and often goes out to find ores for them.

Stoni is a kind person and is well known to be one of the nicest in town. He loves supporting his other small business owners and always encourages his customers to get their weapons or armor checked out by Kindle or stay the night in the local inn. He gets along well and even has adventures that come back just because of his kindness and deals. One repeat customer named Kyuna is his favorite. He loves the stories he has to say and the items he brings in to trade and barter.

Stoni has a little brother named John which he raises himself. Their mother abandoned them at the inn in Riverstone when john was just a newborn. No one knows where she went and the innkeeper tried her best to raise them as she could. Once Stoni got work they moved into a run-down house that Stoni fixed up to be liveable in. He worked at the local general store which he inherited when the owner gave it to Stoni as he moved up to the big city to retire in. 

Unknown to them they're actually part monster. Their mother had two children with an evil warlord she fell in love with. She ran away though once she had John not wanting them to turn into monsters for the creatures army. She abandoned them in the small town in hopes they could have a better life also so she could flee further away faster. She warped Stoni memory so he wouldn't remember his father or old life. Which left him more confused and scared when she abandoned him and John.

Though an adventurer one day comes through town with an artifact that can sense the magic energy of a monster and discovered that John and Stoni were part monsters. He exposed them but many townspeople refused to believe him stating that John and Stoni were the kindest people in town and anyone who's a monster or part monster couldn't be that nice. Though a group of people started to distrust them and kids were told to fear the two brothers. John soon became the subject of bullies as well as Stoni. They eventually have to move away from the town as the group who feared them got bigger and bigger even the innkeeper who raised them thought them to be monsters.
