tall even for a human male, long brown reddish hair, expressive blue eyes, hooked nose, muscular, several scars, prefers simple, practical clothes without decorations.

Dhowran can come across as gruff at first, and he can be a little rude. He likes hanging around people, but he is not susceptible to peer pressure, and couldn't care less about what others want from him. He's intuitive and brave. He's an emotional person, and he will act more confident than he feels.

hand combat, spear (preferred weapon), knife, longbow, quarterstaff. Dhowran is not patriottic. He cares more about his own interests than about doing the right thing. He's not a great follower, and he can be a pain in the ass when he's assigned to a leader he doesn't like, such as his former drill sergeant Iavin. But when placed under the leadership of someone he does respect (his father) he does very well, especially when working in a small group of people he likes. Dhowran only learned to read and write when he was in his twenties, when he joined the Iddsindrian army, and he never became very good at it. He's a good teacher, a decent cook and has rudimentary first aid skills.

Dhowrans father trained him to be a warrior from the moment he could walk. There was never much love between his parents, and when he was 9 his father left. A few months after that, his mother decided it was time Dhowran did his share in supporting the family, and she got him enlisted in the Jesthan army, earning his family their own farm and piece of land. Dhowran didn't like the Jesthan army. The only people with any skills were the high borns, and they used the common born soldiers, who were untrained, as fodder. Things were better for a while, when his cousin and best friend, Hallvar, also joined. Dhowrans fighting skills were recognised, and together with Hallvar, he was given more responsibilities. When Hallvar got killed, when Dhowran was 20, this affected him heavily. He got into a huge argument with his mother, who wanted him to return to the army, and in the end he left his human family to join his father in Iddsindria. Setnir convinced him to join the soldier training program of the elves, and this is where Dhowran met Komi. He deserted the Iddsindrian army the night before his first battle would take place, and Komi followed him, out of concern and also out of curiosity for the human lands. They started working as mercenaries in the human lands. After a few years of this, Dhowran accidentally got Mardun pregnant. She was a human girl who worked at an inn. They got married and they had a daughter, Ferda, but their marriage was never a happy one. They spent most of the time, arguing. When Ferda was about 12 they got divorced again and Dhowran went back to working as a mercenary.
