Aldo

Personality: 

Aldo tries to keep a cool demeanor as it helps with his profession as an escort/ host. But underneath the seemingly cool and charming exterior, he can be a mischievous and a bit selfish. He does get irritated when people seem to make fun of his wings (they're a bit small and he is incapable of flight) or when he is compared against his siblings- or seen as inferior basically. 

He accepts compliments calmly on the outside, but he appreciates them deep down and he tries to hide his happiness in the hopes that it would make him "cooler". He can come off as a bit of a flirt/smug sometimes with his attitude which he has picked up from his occupation as a host/ escort. 

If people insult him, his anger tends to flare up unless someone can calm him down. 

Likes: 

• Being admired/ complimented 
• Going out to drink (alcohol) 
• Smoking alone (but if it's for one of his regular clients, he doesn't mind smoking with them)
• Likes it when his clients buy him things 
• Money
• Likes earning things by his own efforts (he's okay with gifts and such as long as he feels as if there are no strings attached) 

Dislikes: 

• When people compare him against his siblings
• When others make fun of him or underestimate his capabilities (doesn't like to be seen as inferior) 
• Being used as an errand boy (his older siblings used to treat him like that)
• When his youngest brother is able to get away with a lot of things because he's the youngest, while he isn't (even though he is one of the younger siblings)
• Being out of fashion/ out of date with things- especially if it concerns his job

Background: 

Being the second youngest of 6 siblings, Aldo wasn't treated the best by them in his home world and decided to live (for the most part) in the human world. He felt that it would be easier to be among humans because he had the upper hand with his abilities, and he usually sees humans as "gullible" and "simple-minded". 

He does work hard as an escort/ host and he is one of the top ranking escorts/ hosts in the establishment. Many of his clients and fellow escorts wonder how he has such a strong alcohol/ smoking tolerance- little do they know that he is not human! During his work he hides his wings and horns- and he changes his clothes, accessories and hairstyle to suit the themes, occasions and to the liking of his clients (mainly to his regulars). 

As mentioned before, another contributing factor to his success in the human world are his abilities... 

• Aldo's main ability is his Hypnotic Charm and Persuasion which he uses often to get his own way if normal methods of persuasion do not work. It was an ability that he was born with, and he is able to initiate his ability with his eyes.  
• He also has the innate ability to manipulate fire, but this skill is very under developed and he is still learning how to create flames instantaneously. So far, the best he can manage is the flame the same size as a candle flame. 
• His final ability is form change . He can only change into one other form- a biological female counterpart of himself. Though it can be useful in some situations- he doesn't like to rely on it. He managed to gain his form change ability by messing around in Evelyn's shop when he was younger. 

When he meets someone who is able to withstand/ negate his abilities, he becomes a bit frustrated and annoyed with them at first, but that is quickly replaced with curiosity and interest for that person.

Evelyn: 

To help him with his work and life in the human world, Aldo sometimes travels back to his home realm to buy supernatural items/ ask advice from Evelyn - the Elder wood Witch. He met Evelyn when he was younger and more of a trouble maker- when he used to wreck her potions shop for fun and for looting items. But after a few talks they became better acquainted with each other. 

However, unlike Aldo, Evelyn doesn't always interfere/ try to take advantage of humans, so she doesn't always agree with Aldo's intentions, but agrees to help him if he offers something which she sees as equal value in return. Aldo mainly trades information on people Evelyn is interested in (either in the human world or in his home realm) and ingredients that she can't seem to find for her spells and potions. 

When the two of them go out for a drink, it's almost as if they become two different people! When they're both drunk and have had plenty to eat, they seem to be close friends and they tend to share stories and gossip from their lives. 

Suraj: 

Suraj originally met Aldo at Evelyn's shop when he came to buy something from Evelyn. Right in the middle of Evelyn's deal with Suraj, Aldo slammed open the door (of Evelyn's shop) to come and complain about something he got from her. Through a good scolding, Evelyn told Aldo that he had to follow the specific directions perfectly in order to get the desired effect. Aldo, after being tired of the tediousness spell casting, started becoming frustrated and vented that anger towards Evelyn. 

In Evelyn's defense, Suraj stands between them to try and stop Aldo, but Aldo gets annoyed at Suraj's interference. 

"Who the hell are you? Get out of my way?" - Aldo.

Suraj's only response was telling Aldo to go outside and stop this nonsense. Aldo took this as a challenge, and the two proceeded to brawl outside. The brawl didn't last long because of the power gap between Suraj and Aldo- Suraj was the clear winner because of his strong thunder elemental magic. 

Having been taught a good lesson, Aldo has always been more respectful to Suraj and he tries be on good terms with him instead of making him his rival. Aldo admires Suraj's strength and calmness, but doesn't admit it. Aldo also has been jealous of Suraj's popularity because it seems like Suraj never worked hard for that level of popularity.
