Kaze no Anto
Appearance
Kaze has long, dark green hair that he has pulled up in a ponytail. His eyes are yellow. As he views his breath as precious, he often wears a collar that covers his mouth and nose, only pulling it down to talk and play his instruments.
Personality
Kaze is very laid-back and quiet, only speaking up when something piques his interest. He speaks with a somewhat soft, flat tone of voice that sometimes holds a hint of concern. He prefers being on his lonesome than working with a group.

Shinobue flute
A transverse flute, carved from bamboo and about the size of a western piccolo. It has a generally high-pitched tone. Kaze will use this flute for small breezes, smaller plants like garden flowers and ferns, and for flashy performances. He tends to use this one most often, as he avoids fights.
Dzi flute
Another transverse flute, with a lower pitch than the shinobue. It's about the size of a normal flute. This flute will help Kaze control wind and plants up to the size of a young tree sapling. Kaze will use this for small skirmishes to get people to leave him alone.
Bansuri flute
A very large flute, with a bass tone. Kaze can control strong gusts of wind with this flute, and plants up to the size of trees. It is rather difficult to weild considering its size, but he carries two of them in case one breaks. He pretty much never brings this one out unless his life is in danger and he needs to get out quickly.
Kaze is the son from a union between a human man and a tennyo whose hagoromo he stole. He was very young when his father revealed he had taken her hagoromo, and his mother swiftly flew home to the buddhist heavens the second he gave it back. His father was regretful, having thought that at that point that perhaps she had grown to love him in the time that she had spent with him, but it was not to be.
As a consequence, Kaze did not grow up with his supernatural mother, but he quickly discovered his affinity for wind instruments that he had inherited. His father supported him wholeheartedly, giving Kaze the flutes his mother had left behind. With the help of books and local supernaturals, he was able to figure out how to make his own flutes to replace broken ones. When he left to travel the world, he left his mother's instruments for his father to remember his mother by.
Whilst travelling through Asia and discovering more music-playing supernaturals, Kaze learned more about transverse flutes from neighboring countries and how to make them. This is why he has several kinds of flutes, rather than different tonations of the same flute.

-While his father could play the Biwa, a Japanese string instrument, Kaze could not figure out how to play a string instrument to save his life.
