Benjamin is a 30-year-old, 6'6", Jewish, mixed AA and Ashkenazi, gay man who uses he/him pronouns.
He's a musician who mostly has a solo career, but once he gets big enough he starts hiring other musicians to help out and collaborating with other artists. He also writes, and is reasonably well-known for his autobiographical account of a significant period of Californian history which he lived through.
PERSONALITY:
ISTJ-A. Stubborn and not afraid to speak his mind, which often leads to him starting off on rather bad terms with most new people he meets. However, he does commit fully to taking care of the positive relationships he has. Is prone to missing certain social cues or acting out without meaning to, which leads to him getting frustrated with himself.
RELATIONSHIPS:

Antagonistic:Dillon (brother-in-law, past bully), Reid (brother-in-law, they don't get along super well but they can usually manage)
DESIGN NOTES:
- I forgot to put it in the ref, but he has grey eyes.
- By the end of the story, he uses either crutches or a wheelchair to get around, so if you'd like to draw that just make his face a liiiitle bit older and you're good to go.
- He has Bell's Palsy on the left side of his face, which causes the features on that side of his face to droop slightly. The severity of this varies over time, so if you're not confident in your ability to draw it well, don't worry about it too much (drawing it how to appears in his main image works great)
- His hair is pretty curly and long and he usually ties it back in a ponytail, with one or two parts of the hair slipping out of the tie and sorta just... hangin' around.
- You can draw him in clothes other than the ones depicted in his images. Just keep in mind that he mainly wears short/long-sleeved shirts and jeans, sometimes with a jacket on top. In warmer weather, he may wear tank tops and shorts. Shoewear varies from sneakers to Vans to sandals to moccasins.
