 species

Stelengel have a variety of cranial mutations that help differenciate them from their peers. While additional mutations are possible, above are the most well documented variations that exist.

Below is additional information on trait rarity relative to head mutations only.
A secondary trait denotes a trait that is present in addition to other traits and does not appear on its own--counts as one(1) additional pair of horns.

 Common:
- One set of horns, no secondary trait
- Normal pore placement
- Human hair

Uncommon:
- Secondary trait (uncommon variations)
- Unusual pore placement
- 'Tendril' hair in place of horns or human hair; varies in length and structure

 Rare:
- Secondary trait (rare variations)
- 2-3 sets of horns/secondary traits

Rare:
- Any horns (primary or secondary) that connect into one singular, rounded horn is always ultra rare
- More than 3 sets of horns

Legend:
- Other traits not shown above are incredibly rare
- additional traits may be added in the future to various rarity levels.

Stelengel are mysterious alien beings from an unknown world. After the crash landing of the Obelos on Earth, many Stelengel have begun appearing among humanity. While some Stelengel came from the Obelos, others seem to manifest randomly around the globe. Given that the latter type of Stelengel sometimes have fragments of memories of a human life, there are suspicions that certain humans are becoming Stelengel. However, since there has been no increase in missing persons reports, the growing theory is that certain Stelengel may be manifesting from the remains of recently deceased humans.

Build and gender have no relation to type, the physiques shown above are only for visual purposes.

Stelengel can be divided into one of three categories, depending on the type of natural ability they possess from the moment of their manifestation. It is unclear why Stelengel have these abilities--some suspect they are various class of soldier in a manufactured invasion army, while others believe the Obelos has simply blessed them with incredible powers.

Class types have no rarity--a Stelengel may be any one of the three classes but there is never overlap.
Stelengel capable of being more than one class type may be offered in incredibly rare cases for certain one-off designs.

 Ferus: The Body
Ferus is the power of the body. These Stelengel have impenetrable skin and could take gunfire without so much as a scratch. As a natural extension of this incredible invulnerability, they are also incredibly strong and have been known to lift eighteen wheeler trucks over their heads with only some effort.
- Incredibly strong, invulnerable hide

Auros: The Soul
Auros is the power of the soul. These Stelengel are capable of producing a unique energy from their bodies which are crafted into blades and sometimes shields. This energy is the same color as an individual's pores and a Stelengel can control its temperature from harmless to volcanic. These energy blades can cut through steel and even injure a Ferus' hide.

 Cantum: The Mind
Cantum is the power of the mind. These Stelengel have powerful psychic abilities, most notably in their telekinetic skills. They can levitate objects or project forceful blasts on a whim. They are also able to communicate telepathically and, with concentration, read the minds of others.
- Psychic abilities, telekinesis

Upon acquiring a Stelengel, an owner may choose any of the three classes they wish.

Personality

  • Anima: (How does your character act when they are really being their self?)
Adaptable, Swift, Reliable,  Observant, Insightful. Complicated, Compassionate

  • Persona: (How does your character act to hide their real self?) Distant, Aloof

  • He seems hard to get to know but he may be overly concerned and intrusive to those close to him

History

He is mostly a lurker by day, actively working at the night scouring the darkness spying on others for information.

His main priority is to keep an eye on humans who resistant against (threaten) his kind, and track dangerous Stelengel.

He lives on the edge not really have a permanent home as travels a lot with his partner.

Yraxul feels his purpose is to be a guardian over the inhabitants. However he is conflicted over this purpose as it's feels like selfless reason to live to protect others, and not a true reason for him to really live.

(More TBA when I think of it)

  • Tropes and Clichés:
  • Name Meaning:
    • Yraxul
[iˈrɐ] From Proto-Baltic *irā (cf. Latvian ir, dialectal, archaic Latvian forms irād, iraid, irāg, which existed alongside *esti (cf. Old Church Slavonic єстъ (jestŭ), Russian есть (jest’), Lithuanian dialectal ẽsti, Old Prussian ast), initially with basically existential (“there is”) meaning, but later on extending to all copular meanings, thus replacing *esti. In Sudovian, also the first person form irm (“I am”) is derived from this stem. The origin of Proto-Baltic *irā is, however, unclear. Various sources have been proposed: an older interjection (cf. Lithuanian aurè (“look!”)), the particle and conjunction ir (“both... and...”), a noun with the meaning “existence,” “reality,” “thing,” or even (more recently) the Proto-Indo-European secondary third-person verbal ending *-r with a later -ā-extension

Relationships

  •  His partner's pet companion.

In progress since I still gotta make her design. This stelengel is his partner. I think she will be an Auros type. She is the combative type that saves his ass when the situation gets dire. She is easygoing and carefree, and only steps in when she gotta.
