Katherine Corvo-Mcbride

The owner of the Corvo-Mcbride Ranch in the great basin, USA, having inherited it from her father in his will. 

Following the death of her husband after becoming widowed a meagre 4 years into marriage, Katherine was left to raise their son alone. Katherine has since realised that marriage (or at least marrying a man) was not particularly to her tastes anyways.

-Was a "problem child" who was often chastised for not being "Ladylike" frequently got involved in fights as a young adult, and still pretty good with her fists.

-Close Childhood friends with Jericho, who she's since reconnected with and hired as a ranch-hand. Her son, Blanche, looks up to him as a paternal figure and frequently spends time with him. 

-She has a brother, but her family prefers not to talk about him because he's a notorious, wanted criminal who has been on the run from the law for the past 15 years.
