Xia

A humble shopkeeper of antiquities, whose business changes depending on the customer who enters his shop. He carries himself in a calm and sophisticated manner, offering tea to those who'd like to exchange interesting knowledge with him. With his soft voice would he remind his guest to breathe in the scent of tea before drinking, so they can fully enjoy the sweet aroma and rich taste. Among his usual visitors is a young galatier who'd come by to bring him some scrumptious homemade desserts to go with the tea.

Only a few people know of Xia's past and identity as he wishes for the memories of his youth to die along with the people he had shared them with. Though somewhere in his shop is a collection of visibly aged vintage photos of himself and a beautiful human lady. He would at times look at this album wearing a weary yet nostalgic smile on his face. If asked of the identity of this human woman, he would say she was once someone of great importance to him.

A young galatier boy who often visits his shop just to see him. Though Xia at first dismissed the young boy's feelings as meager child-like infatuation, he eventually gave in to the boy's sincere courting after some years. Ever since, he started wearing the hair clips the boy gives him. Xia is aware of the alarming age gap they have, and is sincerely waiting for Ciel to mature into an independent adult before he could commit and advance further into their blossoming relationship.

A young galatier girl, and Ciel's childhood friend. Xia befriended her by chance even before finding out she was also Ciel's friend. She would often visit him to deliver food to his shop every morning, and would teach him about modern technology on her spare time. Knowing the girl's difficult financial and family situation, he would secretly provide some patrons to the businesses she works in, especially the ice cream shop that both she and Ciel grew up with. He does his best not to let her find out because he knows she'd make a fuss about it.
