Grendel is a powerful sorcerer who is a self proclaimed arch demon of prosperity and fortune, the giver of gifts. Grendel's magic is both meant to create and extract awe and excitement from people as it's a source of energy for him for his magical ability.

Grendel owns his own real estate agency on earth for other demons as well as a business making deals with humans. He also owns a part of another company run by humans which use his likeness for its logo/mascot which he imbues with magic like a sigil.
