Miss Fortune's Links
Missy adores her adoptive mother, and she's one of the few people that she's even dare to be openly affectionate around, more for Mia's sake than her own. She knows how naive her mother is, so she does her best to protect that innocence as well.
Even though she's an adult now, Mia is still very coddling of Missy, and tends to fuss over her a lot. She's extremely proud of Missy and the adult that she's become, and she could never ask for better daughters.
Missy knows full well of her aunt's business, and honestly...? She finds it quite impressive. Though she's very capable of defending herself on her own, she appreciates the shooting lessons that Fia taught her and Lady.
Fia always wanted to be the cool aunt, and look at that; she is. She's made sure to teach her nieces lots of important things, such how to shoot, how to gather info, how to gather info if someone doesn't want to comply...you know, the important stuff.
Missy sees Jet as her boss and really nothing more. She doesn't hold any disdain for him, but she's not necessarily affectionate either. Maybe business casual is the best way to put it...? Either way, she's still very grateful to him for giving Lady and her a place to work where they could truly thrive.
Luck always plays a great deal into the game of chance, and when you're on the corporate side, misfortune is your best friend. Lure people in with ideas of grandeur and riches, then sweep it all out underneath them with the help of some bad luck! Jet's very happy to have Missy on his team, and her reports from the casino he left her in charge of never cease to amaze him.
Missy truly cares for her adoptive father, although his eccentricities still tend to throw her for a loop, even after so many years under his care. While she can tell he's much more capable than Mia, she's just as viciously protective of him.
[Related] Though not related by blood, Timmy J took Missy and Lady under his wings when they were young. He and Mia noticed the two huddled on the streets and couldn't help but to take them in and raise them as their own. He's slightly disappointed Missy turned to running a casino instead of a club, though she and the disco ball never seemed to get along.
Missy is Lady's twin sister. She would do anything to keep Lady safe, especially after their time on the streets. She sometimes wishes that Lady would not let emotions take control all the time, but she loves her sister regardless.
Lady is Missy's twin sister. They're thicker than thieves, and the scariest power duo when they hit the tables. Lady really wishes Missy would open up more, but she still loves her sister regardless!!
Missy feels pity for Gustav, honestly. The guy's just trying to get his job done. She can sympathize with that, at least. Still, she's still just trying to get HER job done too, so that pity isn't going to stop her from distracting him.
One of the reasons Gustav hates going to Jet's casino is because of the two managers that always swarm him as soon as he gets through those doors. He hates it because of how painfully easy it is for them to distract him, and before he realizes it the time for their meeting is already over.
