A bit of a late bloomer, Daniel didn't leave his hometown for college until he was 20. Little did he know, struggling to fit in with his new roommates and class was the least of his problems. One night, after attending a party he didn't want to go to in the first place, Daniel dissapeared. Months passed, but for Daniel, it was a blink of an eye. He had been possessed by a demon that physically manifested itself as 6 floating, yellow hands and called itself Muze. The demon's full control over Daniel's body had fizzled out, leaving Daniel in a state of unsettled confusion. It didn't take long for Daniel to realize that even though he had control over his body once again, his body had deteriorated enough to where he could not live without the attached demon.

Daniel continued to struggle to find a way home, not knowing what he would do when he got there. He struggled to maintain a positive outlook. One night, while resting in the alley behind a gas station, he was found by Leroy, a pre-med student who could tell something was wrong. After refusing to allow Leroy to call an ambulence, Leroy realized something much more serious was going on, and offered Daniel a place to stay. As time passed, a relationship has begun to grow between them, as Leroy continues his school and Daniel learns to accept his situation and his demon, Muze.
