Octavian is a kind-hearted young elf who has a strong sense of community, and morals. He hasn’t had the most eventful life, not that he would complain, and keeps a generally optimistic outlook on life. He’s extremely self-sufficient, but its quite hard to make him sit down and relax if there’s even the slightest bit of work to be done, a trait he shares with his father. He goes out of his way to help people, but is surprsingly very opportunistic when it comes to furthering his own goals.

His current liege. At first, Ruuben was somewhat hard to be around. While she displayed a appearance expected of a princess, Octavian could tell that she was put off by him. He'd go even as far to say that she avoided him. However, he choose to carry out his duty as her protector and often took advantage of opportunities that would allow them both to bond better. Getting the Ruuben to open up has not only allowed him some breathing room, but also someone who he too could be comfortable around since he traveled to the mainland. He's sometimes caught offguard by her odd questions and even odder interests, but he appreciates her company and mindfulness, and considers her very special to him. However, getting to know her has made him realize that she may be shouldering more than she'd admit to both him and herself, which troubles him.
