[ PERSONALITY TRAITS ]

[ HISTORY ]

• Glimmer was rescued from the hands of a cult by a group of adventurers, who, unable to find the parents of the dragonborn child, subsequently ended up adopting her and raising her themselves. As such, she has had a rather atypical childhood, spending long periods of time on the road and unwittingly being thrust into dangerous situations on the regular. It wasn't unusual to see a young Glimmer reading a book in a tavern booth while a drunken brawl raged around her; or taking notes on the side as the interrogation of a corrupt official occurred; or rifling through the pockets of a dead goblin for coins for the party to use; or any other number of unsavoury, but thrilling situations. When not taking on contracts together and travelling on the road, the party often went their seperate ways and tended to their personal affairs or interests, and during this time the party's Tabaxi Wizard and Gnome Fighter - Path and Aeryn - took charge of her care, and it was from Path that Glimmer's interest in the arcane came from. Once she hit adulthood, she started pursuing this interest more seriously and started to save up - and study up - to travel to Cauldron and take the entrance exam for the College of Stonespire. To do this she and Aeryn have recently moved to Borell and Glimmer has entered under the employ of the Albatross branch of Redhook Mercenary Company - her family deeming her old and experienced enough to set out on her own to make a name for herself.
• During her time at Redhook so far, Glimmer has established herself as a valuable member of the mercenary company, never missing an opportunity to quest with her newfound friends. While she attends a number of missions with various Redhook members, she would consider herself to be closest to Huck, Wynter and Suicoo. Currently, she is at the forefront of investigating the mysterious, magical bone shards that have been showing up all around Albatross, carefully cataloguing them and recording her theories in her spell book notes. For the moment, it appears that she has forgotten all about her goal of joining the College of Stonespire, embroiled thoroughly and completely in the culture of Redhook.

[ MISC ]

• Is accompanied by her familiar Quartz, a leucistic Raven who uses his mimicry ability only to curse. Leucistic colouration remains no matter what form he takes - Glimmer has attributed his discolouration to the fact she messed up the spell when she was first summoning him as a child. 
• Despite being mainly raised by Aeryn, she considers each of the members of the adventuring party who rescued her to be her parents.

• Originally raised in Ionnelyth, the party was under the employ of the Redhood Mercenary company of that region. Moved to Borell for a change of scenery and to get away from anyone that may hold a grudge against the party - also to be closer to Cauldron.  
• Has a crush on one of her Redhook team members, Wynter. Is too shy to do anything about it just yet.
