Tigien

Tigien (pronounced "ty-gen") is a wilderness survival expert currently living his best life in the woods outside of Darlam. He's also a writer, and he likes to keep a detailed journal of his experiences living of the land, which he hopes to someday publish as a memoir. When he isn't busy repairing his stick hut or scrounging up wild plants to eat, he often likes to visit his friends and family in town.

Ti is 30 years old and a fancy rat. He's a little on the quiet side, but he's very kind and friendly. He also happens to be Tro's (younger) twin brother.

Future timeline:
In the future, Ti moves into a little cabin in the woods and becomes an off-grid homesteader, while publishing several books on the subjects of wilderness survival and off-grid living. He also later adopts a big, goofy dog named Chester, who he loves very much (even if he does drive Ti a bit crazy).

Relationships:
Tro [twin brother]: Ti and Tro grew up together. They're still quite close, despite having very different lives. They like to meet up with each other every once in a while and hang out.

Choan [friend]: Ti and Choan have known each other since childhood. They get along OK. Choan is Tro's roommate, and sometimes Ti will go to visit them both at their flat.

Mitra [friend]: Mitra works at the library, where Ti is a regular patron. They see each other fairly often and like to chat. Ti admires Mitra's friendly personality and her extensive knowledge on books.

Delilah [friend]: Delilah and Ti met each other at the library one day and quickly bonded over a shared love of nature. Ti appreciates that Delilah takes the time to talk to him (and he can't help but admire her enthusiasm!)

Kathryn [acquaintance?]: Delilah's sister, and also a friend of Mitra's. These two will sometimes cross paths when hanging out with their friends at the library. Ti respects Kathryn, even though he also finds her a bit intimidating.

Riley ["adoptive niece"]: Riley and Ti meet each other a few years in the future, after she moves in with Tro and Choan. Ti loves his young "niece" very much- he admires her charming personality!
