Michigan

Born and raised in the city in a garden, Michigan lived an average life for years, going to school, making friends, playing games, and just generally doing what most people do. But things changed towards the end of his freshman year of college, when he was struck by a car while hanging out with friends one evening. Though he survived, he lost his lower right leg, and while he holds no ill will towards those involved, the incident stuck with him - Anything could happen, at any moment. If everything were to end tomorrow, would he really be okay with just being an average person with an average life?

After recovering, Michigan dropped out of school, though he assured his parents he had simply 'changed his mind about the gap year'. Instead, he spent several months going to concerts across the country, and took up drumming - A sort-of hobby he'd had in his youth, playing games like Rock Band as the drummer to his friends' guitars, vocals, and keyboards to... mixed success.

Michigan now works alongside several other Vaikis, some from Chicago, others whom he met at concerts across the states, in a band. As well as serving as a drummer, he also collaborates on songwriting occasionally - And though the group is still small-time, they're determined to make it big someday and leave a mark on the world. For Michigan, it's proof that no matter what life throws as him, he'll charge at it head on; and even if he falls, even if it kills him, it'll be proof his life meant something.
