- it probably goes without saying that he's useless in a fight, but he's able to repair weapons for the adventurers who do fight!
- grew up in an orphanage in a small village in a forest and had two close friends who he considers to be like siblings
- his mom was from the same orphanage and became an adventurer. he grew up hearing stories about her from the people who knew her and decided he wanted to be an adventurer one day too!
- truth is his mom left him at the orphanage because she didn't want to give up adventuring to be a parent, and part of the reason tasty wanted to become an adventurer was the hope that he might meet her someday
- once he was of age he moved out to the city to join the adventurer's guild and start his adventuring career! however on his first outing he got into some trouble where a monster nearly chased him off a cliff and he almost died. he had to retire early but ended up being useful as a custodian due to his skill as a handyman, so now he supports the adventurers from the guild by looking after the building and cleaning up their messes
