Never having had anyone in his life that he could rely on, other than himself, Bottleshock has pulled himself up by his bootstraps and has spent most of his life ensuring that he won't ever have to want for anything. Not wanting to form relationships with anyone, he has become entirely self-sufficient, and he refuses to allow anyone into his life on a connection deeper than acquaintance or employee. It's lonely, sure, but at least he won't get hurt by anyone or abandoned, like he was repeatedly when he was younger.
Trivial Tidbits
He fucks. Like he absolutely fucks. But he mostly does this to satisfy himself physically; he derives nothing mentally or emotionally from doing this, other than standard fun and enjoyment. Should any kind of feelings ever crop up, he would cut them off immediately, and seek someone else.
Obsessed with pineapples to the point where people think he's polyamorous and he's just like "what". You can't go to his bar and not see at least 14 pineapple-themed drinks. Coincidentally, his bar is popular with The Gays.
