Henry comes across as very tired and very done with everyone. And well... He partially is for sure. While Henry enjoys his job, he has also become quite tired of ill-intended people over the year. They make his day harder, they make other people’s day harder and in general he’d appreciate people who avoids doing illegal activities. In the past he was very eager to get into the field and make a difference, and while he still enjoys it, his age gives him so much of the experience and wisdom that he really could have used at the time. Henry is, despite his looks, very patient and calm, which helps him carry through some of the ridiculous things he and Salem has to go through at work.

He may often carry a sarcastic tone or roll his eyes at people, but underneath his dismissive behaviour is a caring and soft heart. Despite Henry being usually good at controlling his temper, he is very easy to make angry as soon as you start getting physically violent towards people who aren’t consenting for a fight. Hurt his partner, and you’re just asking to get into a fist fight with Henry.
