Jaytail is a very charming tom-cat, who is never afraid to let a queen know he likes the looks of her. At first glance he looks like quite the simple tom-cat, but he has quite a lot of problems on the inside. His history gave him some traumas which ended up in his behavior. The last straw was the passing of his mate, Snowdrop. He's also very confident, which is why he isn't afraid to flirt with queens. He's quite the macho-Tom-cat who likes to show off how strong he is. But all of this also makes him arrogant, he knows how strong and good he is and for some cats that could become problematic. Though it's not a good idea to confront him, he absolutely hates it when other cats confront him.

He wasn't always like this. Jaytail used to be really shy, introverted. His history made him shy and alone, because he always blamed himself for everything that had happened through his life. Be it something that happened to him or to the Clan or people he cared about. He turned into the person he is because the love of his life died, just after she gave birth to his kittens.

History

Jaykit

Jaykit was born together with his little sister. His mom died giving birth to the litter, which enraged his already evil-turning dad. His dad grabbed his little sister and moved on to BloodClan. Jaykit grew up with a foster mom and foster sister, Marvelpaw. During his kitten time, he met Colorkit, to whom he developed a "kitten crush". They were best friends, but Jaykit felt such a strong love between them, like kids in preschool dating each other.

Jaypaw

When Jaypaw reached six months, he was acknowledged to the age to become apprentice. He'd gotten Thunderstrike as his mentor, who became like a dad for the young Jaypaw. Thunderstrike trained him hard, but good. With every intention to make him a great warrior. The good contact he had with Colorpaw during their kitten-period was as good as over and he found himself a new best friend called Sunpaw. Sunpaw was a sweet, introverted apprentice, to whom he felt strong about. Though, everything started to go downhill for him. He met with his dad, who had left the clan to join BloodClan when he didn't even know him, but his dad seemed to recognize him. But nothing good was about to happen. His dad got bit by a deadly, poisonous snake and died with Jaypaw still being there. His sister, in search for their dad, found Jaypaw with the deceased father. She was mad, absolutely mad and started attacking him. They fought and Jaypaw tried to stop them, tried to reason with her and tell her it wasn't his fault, but she wouldn't listen. She wanted him dead. It was all about survival at that point, the point where Jaypaw had to kill his own sister.

Trouble only started from that moment. Dogs were close to their territory and it was about to storm heavily. No-one was allowed to go outside the camp, not without anyone knowing or any company. But, Jaypaw wanted to hunt for their clan, was sick of sitting inside of the camp and wait for the coast to clear. Dogs found him, grabbed him and caused a piece of flesh to be torn on his left rear paw. He fled into a tree, waiting until the dogs would leave him alone. Thunderstrike found him when the dogs were gone and at that point Jaypaw was in shock. Thunderstrike carried him home, but because of Jaypaw's wounded leg he left a trail. A trail the dogs found. Dogs attacked the clan, which ended with the death of Fireheart and Littlepaw. Their leader, Bluestar, gave her last two lives to save Fireheart and her daughter Littlepaw to return from StarClan. Leaving Jaypaw with the big guilt that he was the reason for Bluestar's death.

Jaytail

Jaytail lived with guilt. Guilt was the main thing in his life. Guilt towards the clan, to the kittens of Bluestar, towards his mentor for letting him down. In the end he became warrior at thirteen moons due recovery time. He was still very much in touch with his old mentor, had quite a lot of talks with him too. He murdered a ShadowClan apprentice not too long after, which made him question himself and his loyality to his clan. He was loyal, but he wondered if he wasn't meant to be BloodClan like his dad and sister were. He met Swiftheart, which he began to love even though she already had a partner. She was also there when dogs on the edge of the territory attacked them. Jaytail shouted to her that she had to flee, while he kept the dogs busy. She did, she brought Snowdrop to him. Snowdrop carried him mostly, as he was unconscious after the battle with the dog, which he scared away. It felt like a victory to him, like his life was about to get better. The feeling for Swiftheart passed and him and Snowdrop started to become closer. They became close friends, but through events he started to get feelings for her. When she ended up pregnant, he was almost positive that she was pregnant from Silverstar, the new leader of ThunderClan and former SkyClan deputy.

Snowdrop disappeared. Heavily pregnant and they didn't know where to. He started to panic, of course he did, Snowdrop was one of the only cats he actually cared about. Snowdrop ended up in RiverClan, where she had given birth to three kittens. Well, four, but one of them had died. Silverkit, Longkit and Heronkit remained. Jaytail was absolutely sure now, Snowdrop had given birth to Silverstar's kittens. But against all odds, Snowdrop told him a few moons later that he was their father. When the kittens became apprentices they decided to get another litter of kittens, ones Jaytail could actually be a father to. Then, the clans had to leave their territory's to start a journey. A journey to a new territory? Where to? They didn't know. Snowdrop gave birth during those days, but died. A farmer shot at her, killed her instantly. Which left Jaytail with his new kittens: Snowkit, Butterkit and Coverkit. To which, he decided, to be the best dad as possible. Even if his older kittens still didn't know he was their father, he would give these kittens everything they wanted.

They ended up in the mountains with the Tribe, where they stayed for quite some moons. Until the point StarClan gave them a sign that the old territory was good to go back to again. So they moved back as soon as they could. Jaytail was a sack of bones, basically. He was in a bad shape, he felt bad, because he missed her. He missed his mate. He had always been weak, especially emotionally. But something changed as well. When he went to the riverbank for the thousandth time, he just.. changed. He became more confident, more macho and closed himself off his emotions. Which is why he was able to act like he did. He met with Minnowspots, who completely fell for his charming behavior. She ended up pregnant with his kittens. He was enraged. Not only with her, but also with himself. He only wanted kittens with Snowdrop, with no-one else. So he lashed out to her, told her they weren't his kittens, that she must've gotten pregnant from another Tom-cat. She slapped him, rushed away, leaving him with a bloodied cheek.
