Born into a privileged Spanish family in the late 2030s, Fernando Álvarez de Montoya was a mild, relatively timid boy. A lover of art and History, he was somewhat of an oddball in a family of engineers and businesspeople… Despite this, he was well-liked; especially by his two engineer brothers, Alejandro and Cristóbal.
Along with said brothers, who were inspired by his golden-age syndrome, Fernando partook in a rather ambitious endeavour; reviving bullfights, a tradition that had been banned in Spain a few decades prior.

Instead of real animals, the bulls in the ring would be man-made, crafted machines, and Alejandro and Cristóbal agreed to claim that Fernando was charismatic and classic-looking enough to carry the project as a poster boy.
It was a success, surprisingly enough, and Fernando became somewhat of a national celebrity.

Fernando began to live a life in the lap of luxury, acclaimed and adored, enjoying wine and the company of gorgeous women.
He lives for his place in the spotlight… and fears the oblivion that awaits him.
