Personality
Mildly religious and very practical. Rarely wastes words. Swears heavily if upset. He is gruff and serious most of the time, but although the man does not go in for romance he cares for his lover and friends deeply.

Likes/Dislikes
Likes swordplay - teaches it to Bradan on a regular basis. Enjoys betting and various card games, as well as rushes of adrenaline. Dislikes overly chatty people - tends to think that they have something to hide.

Strengths/Weaknesses
He's good with a two-handed sword and has decent skills when it comes to riding, mapreading and other skills required for a life on the road. He doesn't get sobby or emotional easily and is horrible at romance.

Backstory
He was born as a bastard son of a knight near the Abergwaun-Isenbruch border. Faramund took up swordplay growing up, eventually becoming a traveling mercenary, hunting down wanted criminals and working for whoever payd him the most.
He first met Bradan after being hired with his merry band of mercenaries to take out a group of organized bandits near Eofarhild, with the castle guard assisting them in doing so.
The second encounter took place a year later, when Faramund ran into the late Lady of Eofarhild whilst she was traveling with some attendants to visit her relatives. He traveled alongside them, getting to know Bradan better as he did so. By the time the Lady reached her destination the two had realized that they had a lot in common.
Thus the mercenary asked the guard out for some beer.
What followed was a deepening friendship, spiced up by a very long and careful courtship, to which Bradan eventually revealed himself to be a more than willing participant.
It was enough for Faramund to put aside his mercenary work and get full-time employment at the Eofarhild castle.

Ongoing story
Recently Faramund and Bradan got enlisted to escorting the incredibly stubborn Caelan of Eofarhild to the household of her groom-to-be in Widborough.
