Basics

Gwendoline, also known as Gwen, is a powerful mage who specializes in water but is capable of all sorts of magic. She is your standard sized canine and has a water fury or otherwise known as an elemental familar that takes the form of a water otter.

Abilities

Gwendoline is the most powerful mage in her world. She could be compared in power to a 20th level d&d evocation wizard. Like evocation wizards she is strongest in the more elemental style of magics like water wall and fire ball, but at her level of magic she is able to cast most any magic spell.

She also happens to be Fury Bound. This means she has been touched (in a magical sense) by an elemental plane. She is Fury Bound to the Plane of Water. This enhances her water based spells and allows her to summon a water elemental. Her elemental is named Aurora and usually takes the form of a Water Otter.

Personality

She seeks power through knowledge. Her goal is to unlock the key to all the mysteries of the world. Will that really happen? Who knows? But when opportunity rises she’s always the one to take the call. Tell her there’s a magic staff of shape shifting in a temple full of Ash Wraiths she will walk face first into it, well...she will shove a meat shield in front of her first then walk in. As well as being the seeker of hidden truths she also strives to be the embodiment of shining light. She’s the kind of girl that the world of Ravenloft would would just spit out. Ender of curses, seeker of knowledge, and savior of the weak her greatest flaw is gloating, a smidgen of greed, and being over trusting and curious. Never trap her in a cave with an orb of order and a stick....trust me.

Gwen is based on two beloved RPG characters: Alexandra the Cleric and Gwendoline the Ex-Circle Mage.
