A military commander, A Sith Lord, A mother. A risk-adverse traditionalist yet one of the most prominent voices for progressive reform.
Vachir often finds herself pulled in multiple directions, threading the line of raising a family as noramlly as she can while being one of the Empire's most potent weapons. Wanting what's best for her children while konwing that advocating for them could be remarkably dangerous should she cross the wrong person. Gaining power and influence by being the one thing she was ever raised to be and hating it all so deeply that she has deluded herself into making it her identity.
The sad truth is, she has clawed her way into a position of power not even her parents dared to believe she would reach. She has influence, the ear of the Dark Council, and more military awards than can be counted. Everything that she was taught she should strive for. The only accolades that justified her continued position as a member of her family.
And it makes her miserable.
Everything she finds joy in -- teaching, her children, her wife -- is secondary to her obligation to the Empire and she knows that any happiness she finds in a living a civilian life is fleeting. The Empire needs it's Wrath and she cannot refuse the call to service. She is a weapon of the Empire.
And weapons exist to be used.

Overview
Vachir Ancile was a Kaasian Sith Lord during the War of the Emperors best known for securing the throne for Nishkante family and supporting many controversial reforms passed during the reign of the First Lord Nishkante. She was the first Lord Wrath of the Reconstituted Sith Empire, a title she held for over two hundred years and the only Lord Wrath to abdicate her position in favor of government service as the interim Minister of War.
She was born in Kaas City to the Ancile family. She studied at the Alimar Academy in Kaas City and was apprenticed to Lord Gharzr, also of the Ancile family. After her apprenticeship, she was assigned to the Eighth Legion which she served with for the duration of the Second Hyperspace War. Near the end of the Second Hyperspace War, she was chosen for Darth Malgus' strike force to sack the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. She became a Darth after the Sacking of Coruscant, taking the name Darth Akkona.
Her acheivements included the medal of Imperial Service, the Flame of Adas, the Emperor's Regard, along with various battlefield honors. She was also a three-time consecutive champion of the Grand Melee and an instructor at the Alimar Academy.
Although from a famously conservative and traditional family of pureblood Siths, Vachir was a life-long member of the Reformist Sect and supported many reforms that aimed to better the lives of aliens and non-Siths in the Empire. She also believed that history and culture of the purebloods needed to be preserved and passed down and taught all of her children the sith langugae and their religious ceremonies. One of her children, Azaenin Ancile, would go on to found the cathar branch of the Ancile family and the clan still keeps to pureblood traditions to this day.
Vachir Ancile died at the age of 320 at the Ancile estate on Dromund Kaas by way of physician-assisted euthanasia.
Early LIfe
Vachir Ancile, first named Taayaa Ancile, was the first-born child of Khirik and Feiyara Ancile at the Ancile's Estate in Kaas City. From a young age, she showed great power in the Force her parents had great hopes that their daughter would be a worthy heir of the Ancile estate and she was tutored by the most prestigious teachers in Kaas City.
The Ancile family dated back to before the time of King Adas and by the Age of the Resurgent Empire, was an immensely wealthy and influential player in Imperial society with members of the family and their retainers in positions of power in almost every sphere of the Empire. Her mother, Feiyara Ancile, was the heir of the family and served with the 132nd Legion. While she was home, she was very invovled in Vachir's martial education and personally tutored her in fighting and battlefield tactics. Her father, Khirik Ancile, was from a disgraced bloodline who were keepers of ancient relics that the Ancile family were interested in gaining possession of. Khirik was an interrogator for the Sphere of Intelligence and taught Vachir various interrogation techniques and how to coerce information from prisoners.
Vachir was born under the shadow of her older brother, Aedaris Ancile. Aedaris was thirteen years older than her and had been training to be a Sith warrior for some time under the watchful gaze of their parents. Although polite and affable to strangers, he harbored deep anger and resentment towards his family. When Vachir was three, Aedaris disappeared and her parents never spoke of him again, removing all traces that he had existed from the family home.
When Vachir was five, her sister, Sarnai Ancile, was born. The sisters were treated very differently by their parents. Vachir as their heir was given more attention and personal tutoring while her sister was given to tutors and nannys. However, this didn't appear to affect the sisters' relationship and they were rarely seen without the other.
At the age of fourteen, Vachir was deemed ready for her adulthood ceremony. Her parents took her to the deep jungle east of Kaas City and left her in a clearing surrounded on all sides by a thicket of spiked janik vines and ironwood trees. Armed with only a vibrosword, Vachir made her way through the jungle. Three days later, she arrived at the gates of Kaas City dragging behind her a carcass of a freshly killed gundark as proof that she was ready for the adult world. During the ceremony held to honor her achievement, she was named Vachir Ancile in honor of an ancestor who fought at the side of King Adas and formally apprenticed to Darth Gharzr.
Education and Apprenticeship
As a formality, Vachir was enrolled in the Alimar Sith Academy at the age of fifteen, shortly after her adulthood ceremony. Overseers noted that she was a bright child but did not take to classroom learning and much prefered sparring and the hands-on classes. As a result, she was not considered a particularly good student and would often get in trouble for inattentiveness and sneaking out to the beast pens.
When she graduated from the Alimar Sith Academy at the age of nineteen, she immediately entered the service of Darth Gharzr. During her service, she became known as a ferocious fighter not afraid to confront the most powerful of Sith Lords and Darth Gharzr's top enforcer who would drag those loyal to her Masters' rivals to her Master to be interrogated.
During her service to Darth Gharzr, she sustained an injury that led to a hospital stay. It was here she met Etana Aceso, a young resident assigned to her case. The two began a romantic relationship and eventually eloped while taking a small trip to the Shining Waves to celebrate Etana's completion of her residency. Shortly after, they decided to have a child.
It was at this point that Darth Gharzr decided to test her apprentice. While flying over the Ziost ice fields, Vachir's shuttle had a malfunction and the engine exploded, sending her and her shuttle crashing into the ground. Greviously injuried, she made her way through the wilderness towards New Adasta, several hundreds of kilometers away. She was found by the Ziost Ice Patrol, freezing and near death. Given emergency medical care and shipped to New Adasta, she arrived to find that Darth Gharzr was waiting for her.
Vachir had passed Darth Gharzr's test and she was elevated to a full Sith Lord.
Military Service
After she was elevated to a full Sith Lord, Vachir was assigned to the Eighth Legion. During this time, the Empire was preparing to war against the Republic and Vachir spent months away from Kaas City preparing for the invasion.
The Eighth Legion was expected to be a vanguard Legion and was part of the first strike against the Republic at TBD. This was intended to be a diversion. Drawing the Republic's attention and army away from the Empire's true goal of taking back Korriban and the other lost worlds. They were not expected to be victorious, only to bleed the Republic of its strength for as long as possible to allow for the Legions in Operation Homeworld to establish defenses. They were far more successful than anticipated.
Helped by the Republic's complacency, the Eighth Legion, led by Vachir, tore through their defenses and took several of their outposts before Republic High Command realized what was happening on TBD. By the time Republic renforcements arrived, the Eighth Legion had already established themselves in a TBD City and was laying seige to a nearby garrison. Months of fighting followed the arrival of the Republic reinforcements with neither side gaining an advantage until, frustrated by their lack of advance, the commander of the Republic Forces ordered an attack on the city walls.
The battle was swift. The Republic had been unable to ready their artillery and breach the energy shield protecting the city from blaster fire. As a result, the Republic soldiers were unsupported as they attacked the city and the Imperial forces, protected by the city walls and shields, were able to break the Republic line by raining blaster and canon fire on the Republic soldiers.

Sacking of Coruscant
Following her success at destroying the last remaining rebel stronghold on TBD, Vachir was chosen by Darth Malgus to take part in the Sacking of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. This was a great honor for such a young Sith Lord and she proved her worth during the battle, killing many Jedi, including the Jedi combat instructor TBD. Before she and the other Sith destroyed the temple, she took TBD's lightsaber as a trophy of her accomplishment.
She returned to Kaas City as a war hero and was immediately given command of her own legion. Because of her new status and political pull, she was now more useful to her family alive than dead and begrudgingly they accepted her wife and child as a member of the family.
