History

Was captured and used by French scientists for experimentation and became a mutant of sort. When he managed to escape the facility, he found home in the sewers under a city and lived there for a long time, scaring and attacking anyone passing by. One day, he mysteriously found himself in the Pond of the Forest. Not caring about how or why, he immediately settled there.

The Pond Has Eyes

UPDATES

24th - 30th April

The Sewer Mutant was pretty bored as no creature seemed keen on the idea of hanging out with him. Not that he wasn't used to it, however. That smile, the one of a vile anomaly trying to infect anyone too close, was enough to scare anyone away, and that's why he had to hide it. Yet he couldn't help it. It's so exciting seeing all of those potential preys around!

That day, after briefly keeping company to a sphinx (Foras), he met an underwater creature (Levy) and pretty much hung out with her the whole time (along with Urschanabi), the silence briefly broken by a question from the shark that prompted a straight answer from the alligator, with a simple head gesture.

Aside from that, everything was calm. Too calm. In fact, it went to a point where Dégoût resolved to stalking a certain furry lizard. Unfortunately, said lizard was accompanied by a "menacing" fellow and nothing noteworthy was going on. Or at least, not that he could see from that distance. Yes, an uneventful day, as usual. But little did he know that one of his next encounters was going to give him exactly what he asked for.

One morning, after roaming around the Pond for a while, the chimeric reptile decided to sunbathe on the biggest rock at the Playground. At first, he noticed a strange ungulate (Lilium) soon settling nearby, but he didn't think much of it as he just wanted to rest in the sunlight at the moment.

When he opened his eyes again, he saw that the stranger was missing. He turned around to see them standing on the flat rock platform, looking at him. Upon approaching them, the latter asked him a couple of questions, to which the Sewer Mutant responded with head nods that didn't really answer them. Realizing that they didn't have anything else to ask or add, Dégoût lay back down on the big rock with them. Before spending the rest of the morning alongside them, however, he headed back at the Pond for a quick hunt. His idea: bring some fish to the ungulate as a gift. Sure, ungulates don't eat meat (or at least he thought), but he didn't want the new guy to be suspicious of him right from the get-go. To his surprise, the stranger actually ate the fish! Great! That makes his gift even less of a waste!

Later that day, the alligator kept company to Levy and another ungulate (the Nymph). He spotted Lilium on the other side of the Pond, and thus decided to invite him over to hang out with the group for the rest of the day. Although the ibex left once or twice, Dégoût simply dismissed it as just him checking on something, thinking it wasn't worth his time. Oh boy, was he wrong! Because the next day turned out to be quite something.

It began with a breakfast from Lilium: a delicious mole. Without hesitation, the chimeric reptile devoured it, before jumping into the water, without a warning, to fetch a fish for him in return. Later, hanging out once again with the ibex and Levy, they were eventually joined by another creature (Selene) whose body colors intrigued the Sewer Mutant.

But something felt different today. Lilium kept slipping away. Why? Dégoût had to know. So he followed him, careful not to be too visible. After all, he wouldn't want to inadvertently foil the ibex's plans with his sheer presence, if it turned out he had any.

And that's when it all began. After a long while following Lilium around, the Sewer Experiment got tired of it and went back to the Pond. But then, suddenly, his attention was caught by a delightful sound. He looked behind him and saw the blue-horned ungulate getting chased by someone (Astor). At first, he was confused by the unfolding scene and even wondered if Lilium was after the child (Geeta). The alligator followed them to watch the entire thing happen, excited to know the outcome, and also curious to find the answers to his numerous questions.

Despite his failures, the ibex kept on trying. You're not gonna let it go, are you? Cool, more fun for me~ So he continued following him around, enjoying his shenanigans. My, my, what a pitiful sight! He wasn't going to get anyone anytime soon, for they had taken refuge in the Old Oak, causing Lilium to abandon. Spent the rest of the day with Levy and Selene afterwards.

This is promising.
