Young Dannica's existence has always been a simple one, her life having been largely defined by the usual suspects for those born on the Wayfarer's "homeworld" of Empagu: Gardening here, Life Aether training there, meditation and siestas, rinse and repeat. But fate had other plans, as the anxious young trainee steeled herself to face her first Pilgrimage, she was discovered to have a link with Veenix, a being made of pure Life Aether, believed by some within the Order to bring a newfound understanding of Aether itself. Because of this link, Dannie's Pilgrimage took an interesting turn: She was to travel alongside the "Pure Being" to learn, grow, and experience what she had to offer... and though it didn't take long for the naive Dannie to understand that Veenix's interests were far more worldly than the Council seemed to believe, she has no intention of allowing the opportunity granted to pass her by...
