Design
- His eyes and mouths can move anywhere on his body at will. He can have any amount of them. His eyes glow yellow-orange and his teeth are extremely sharp
- His skin is like an inky black void. The top layer constantly drips small drops, but the inside of him is more "solid"
- Despite his semi-solid body, he can merge and unmerge his tentacles to create more/less of them or other bodyparts. If part of his body were to be ripped off or cut it would simply grow back
- He can also change height and can be anywhere from 1 foot to 15 feet tall. His normal height is around 6'5"
- Xed's robes are magical and actually have roughly a 15x15 foot space inside of them. This comes in handy since Xed has a large amount of tentacles to hide under his robes. He also uses it to store a lot of random items more easily
- Reality warps around him. He does not have much control over this

Personality
Xed is pretty naive, not knowing much about the world despite his age. He's very cheerful and friendly, and has a lot of empathy for everything around him. He loves making friends, exploring, and learning new things, and appreciates all the little things in life.
He talks to inanimate objects very frequently and treats them like they're people too.
He can be pretty impulsive, especially if something is exciting or new to him.
Xed loves to collect small knick knacks. He also enjoys creating things- whether it's more for function or more for decoration. He loves it even more to give these things to people he thinks will enjoy them as well.
Backstory
Xed grew up in the underdark, alone with little contact with others for the first several thousand years of his life. During this time he lived in a small hut where he gardened, foraged, and hunted for all his food and supplies. He kept himself company by talking to various things he had around his place. The closest civilization to him was a drow city that was about a day's travel away, where he would occasionally make the treck to in order to trade with some of the shops on the outskirts of the city.
He eventually moved up to the surface after meeting Renae- a tiefling bard who taught him a lot about life on the surface. He lived with her in her little town for about 10 years before he began to go out and explore further.
During his explorations, he found a portal to the void. He traveled through several portals that were at this location in the void, to various dimensions, until he eventually ended up at Blink and Soba's house in the void. He formed a quick friendship with them and ended up staying at their house. He still explores other places and goes back to Renae's town to visit her, but he spends most of his time at the house with Blink and Soba.

Blink QPP / Housemate
Xed enjoys accompanying Blink on his adventures around the void, simply exploring together and enjoying the many strange varieties of nature that it holds. They also enjoy spending time together around the house and just relaxing or chatting idly. The two have a close bond that blossumed due to their shared love of exploring.
Soba QPP / Housemate
Soba often brings back trinkets for Xed from his adventures in various worlds that he thinks Xed will enjoy. Xed also occasionally joins Soba for his adventures, though this is less common due to the nature of Soba's exploring. Sometimes Xed will just come along pocket-sized and ride around in Soba's pockets.
Renae Friend / Mentor
Renae was the one who introduced Xed to the surface and she taught him many things. He views her as a close friend and as a mentor, and he very much looks up to her and goes to her when he needs advice. While he no longer lives with her, he does go back to visit her and her town semi frequently.
Minolin ???
Xed has met Minolin on a few occasions, and is excited whenever he sees him due to them both being from the underdark. However, Minolin does not reciprocate Xed's excitement in seeing him.
