Jackson Varo hails from the city. He was what many called a career student, he wasn't stupid or the like but he never seemed to make any progress in higher education. Eventually, to his mother's dismay, he quit school and followed advice left by his abuelo in a letter left to him, and headed to Pelican Town in Stardew Valley. There he crafted a life as a farmer, restoring the old farm his abuelo had left behind for him.
Jackson is soft spoken and incredibly patient. However, few know what happens when his fuse finally burns out. He is highly empathetic and adores animals, having a sizable herd of everything from cows to alpacas. He has an eye for design, having meticulously detailed his farmland down to the smallest square foot. This creative spirit eventually translated to his appearance, deciding to color his hair for the season and dress to the occasion. When speaking with him, one gets the idea that he's finally being his truest self in Stardew, something he couldn't be at home for whatever reason. Beyond his farm and his family, he adores his two pets most of all. One is a dog named Piper, and the other is a small blue slime named Chicle. Chicle randomly showed up one evening, and Jackson was smitten with him. Chicle merely found a place for food, but Jackson found a friend and rat deterrent.
