Octavius "Otto" Oyal is a selfish tiefling, seeming happy to play into his kinds stereotypes of devilish behavior. He's always got some kind of scheme or con planned, and finds himself never staying in a single place too long. His loyalties lie with coin and the contract, although a few other things can sway him to play nice. Otto's ultimate goal is to live comfortably and with minimal struggle, although he's prone to self sabatoge.
While he's prone to scams and tricks, Otto is content to do "honest" work when needed. Stealing an item, disposing of something (or someone) discreetly, gathering information, even pest extermination for people with enough coin. He can also play nice in a group if sufficient payment is promised at the end of a job. And when all else fails, he's quite good on the violin.
He has a soft spot for animals and small folk, preferring to direct ire and trouble to those who can stand up for themselves. It's not fun for him if whoever he's antagonizing can't fight back. Earning his respect and friendship is a hard road, but once earned, it's hard to break. There's a softer side to Octavius if you can get past his walls, and he is fiercly loyal to those he cares about.

Thieves' Cant - You have learned thieves’ cant, a secret mix of dialect, jargon, and code that allows you to hide messages in seemingly normal conversation. It takes four times longer to convey such a message than it does to speak the same idea plainly.
Cunning Action - You can take a bonus action on each of your turns to take the Dash, Disengage, or Hide action.
Rakish Audacity - You add your CHA modifier (+3) to your initiative rolls. You don’t need advantage on the attack roll to use your Sneak Attack against a creature if you are within 5 ft. of it, no other creatures are within 5 ft. of you, and you don’t have disadvantage on the attack roll.
Fancy Footwork - During your turn, if you make a melee attack against a creature, that creature can’t make opportunity attacks against you for the rest of your turn.
