Justis's Links
Justis is very fond of his mother, and though he enjoys what he does, he does know how much it worries her. He tries to make sure she doesn't know the extent of much of what he does to try to soften the blow, but he'll take her worrying if it makes her feel better.

For now he'll stand back and keep a close eye on his son to see how this develops.
Don often feels as though he isn't quite living up to the expectations of the mob, especially when he compares himself to his father. He tries very hard not to disappoint, and to be a good future second-in-command like he should, but...he feels it's pretty clear that his heart isn't in it.
Owen is pretty much like a younger brother to Justis, and considers the kid as part of his family. Still, he doesn't see him as gang material, and despite Owen's desires to join, doesn't think he's ready yet. The kid still has some growing to do first.
With Taka and Terry being close friends, it's only natural that Owen met Justis. Now this guy, he absolutely looks up to this guy. He's the epitome of cool, being well tempered AND destructively strong. He wants to be just like him, and to join his gang. He'll assassinate the Nightingale themselves if that'll prove his worth.

Having her eyes opened to the beauty of older people, Annie fell in love the minute she visited Don's family and laid eyes on Justis. He is a perfect specimen of a man, with a calming smile and bulging muscles. He is peak performance in every area.
Justis doesn't know too much about his dear brother-in-law, other than the fact that he disowned his sweet Ellie as a sister after they got married. The sadness that caused his wife is not something he can forgive.
Growing up in a family that wanted nothing but justice, it was a slap to the face seeing his sister marry a mob boss. Gil cannot stand this man and would love to arrest him, but he feels conflicted.
