Apple Core Bird

A bird that's also an apple core. It has a singular eye shaped like an apple with a seed in the middle, and the rest of the eye is yellow to match the fleshy inside of the fruit. The body is filled with seeds that sprout roots to form its legs. They choose to nest among leaf litter where they can bury their roots to absorb nutrients from the soil and to better camouflage as leftover food waste. The stem on its face has no openings and is used to fight in territorial disputes.
