Panic, Host of Frenzy, The Force of Creation and Protagonist of the Panic Stories | he/him

York "Panic" Laguard is a young man living a dark, lonely life. He has no friends, no family, no one he can call even to say hello. What he does have is an embodiment of pure fear that lives in his head. This malevolent creature, called Frenzy, does everything in his power to make Panic's life terrifying. Because of Frenzy, Panic is in a constant state of alert, always aware that the minute he lets his guard down, Frenzy will wrench it away from him in a tide of uncontrolled terror. He's already driven away every person Panic ever cared about in his life, made Panic's father disown him and kept him from even really leaving the house. 

What Panic doesn't know, but Frenzy does, is that the former is the latest reincarnation of a god of pure creation, a facet of a tri-part god engaged in a long game of king of the hill. And if Frenzy does his job right, Panic will die never knowing his true potential. 

But both Frenzy's machinations – and more importantly, Panic's life – are on the line when the facet of destruction comes looking for them. 

Panic, true to his name, is incredibly anxious, high-strung and hypersensitive, always on the verge of a breakdown. Living with Frenzy has made him fearful and pessimistic, but as his story goes on, Panic channels his fear into caution and foresight, becoming more confident in himself and his abilities. On a lighter note, he's a bookish guy who finds respite from his anxiety in reading fiction.  

Panic begins his adventures largely helpless, easily puppeted by Frenzy into violent-looking panic attacks – and sometimes outright violence. In his second adventure, he acquires a pill bottle that takes the form of a sword in his mind, with a prominent sapphire set into the hilt. Panic uses his sword to delve deeper into his unconscious, seeking to slay Frenzy and finally free himself from his toxic influence. That journey sets of the chain of events that give him access to his powers as the Creation Aspect or Force of Creation. With these powers, Panic can make anything from nothing, with the only limit being his imagination. The end of the Panic Stories sees Panic creating an entirely new reality where his spiritual descendants, the Offsprings, oversee the gods and magic that Panic created to fight against the Force of Destruction. This new universe is known as the Post-Panic Universe, and it's the setting for many of my other stories. 

Though I draw Panic as a kind of furry rabbit creature, he is considered a human in his own story. He got the X-shaped scar on his left palm during the dream-within-a-dream-within-a-dream that created the Phantom.
