Kiefer is a Bumble Bear. His name means "pine".
As his name suggests, he lives a secluded life in a mountain area known as the Valley of the Whistling Pines. Kiefer has built multiple tree houses throughout the area and spends time in all of them, moving from tree to tree depending on the seasons. He is known by the rural villagers who live in the valley and they often leave out pastries for him to eat, as they find him cute. He doesn't speak much, but as thanks for the villagers' offerings, he will help them out when they need it. He used to be part of a matriarchal society of Bumble Bears, but he was tired of getting pushed around by his sisters and so he left.
