  • Permanent section of rot that looks more like a scar on her right cheek, usually covered by her hair
  • Pierced ears

Clothing Style

Victoria keeps herself well dressed like any proper aristocratic noblewoman, her clothing usually having a blend of Victorian and Gothic style. Her color schemes tend to be dominantly black, red, gray, and white, and she tends to have an old fashioned feel to all her outfits, especially since she only feels comfortable wearing dresses and skirts. She tends to accessorize with elegant hats, lace gloves, and classy jewelry. She will also often wear broaches if appropriate for the outfit, usually with red gemstones or cameo designs.

Her tops tend to have poofy shoulders with the sleeves being more form fitting with the ends loosening again. She'll also often wear corsets or cinchers, her dresses are usually worn with cages and have many layers, and her skirts are almost all hoop skirts. She only relaxes her style when turning in for bed when she'll wear high quality silk nightgowns.

Personality

Victoria is a refined and sophisticated zombie aristocrat skilled in both necromancy and alchemy. She always speaks very politely and eloquently, and she keeps a calm and mild demeanor at all times, even when she's not actually saying polite things to people she doesn't care for. If ever speaking impolitely, she'll only do so in private with her husband so they can snicker about it to themselves. She keeps the typical manner of a proper lady, moving with grace and never crude. The only times she acts with less poise is if she is alone at home with her husband or son. She and Cassius have a very passionate love for each other and can be very theatric and over the top with showing their affections (think like... a less strange but equally macabre Gomez and Morticia). Victoria gets very doting and coddling with their son, Lee, and she tends to be overbearing and too protective of him at times. She adores her husband and son more than anything, and she would do anything for them and to keep them safe.

Despite how sophisticated and prim she may be, she is still a necromancer and deals with death and rather vile topics without batting an eye. As both a necromancer and a high class aristocrat, she tends to care little about the fragility of mortals and sometimes doesn't really think about how heavy the topic might be for others. Since she is a zombie and all of her servants are also zombies, neither she nor her husband really care about work safety all that much. The only time they take it seriously is if they are dealing with actual attacks on them, especially from vampires or werewolves. Their family particularly hates werewolves due to a devastating attack on their mansion that caused the permanent deaths of many of their kin and left the three the only remaining members of their family. Victoria only shows her remorseless side when dealing with such creatures. She does have a rather cunning and cold side when working on her "personal projects" usually involving her alchemy, but she tends to let one of her agents handle any of the dirty work required.

Backstory

Not much is known about Victoria's past since she has lived quite a long life, so to speak. She has always existed on Transvana, and apparently unlike her husband she was not animated from "birth" and was risen from the dead by another necromancer. She briefly mentions that she dealt with the "unpleasant situation of being subservient" after some time and apparently absorbed this necromancer's powers, becoming an elite class Vey and capable of keeping herself animated. She also mentions meeting Cassius somewhere in an unspecified forest where the two were both hunting down Dyric. The two claim it was love at first sight, and Cassius invited her to live at his family manor in Veydithe since she was still wandering about on her own at that point.

Ever since then, the two have been together, eventually marrying and continuing the family's prosperity while expanding their fortune and property further over the centuries. In recent years, the two had felt a strange void in their existence since they were doing so well and had no particular goal to pursue anymore. They decided to animate a child and start their own family, and Victoria adores their son Lee as the light of her unlife. Recently, however, Lee was kidnapped by a traitorous member of the estate staff for ransom. She and her husband had intended to negotiate conditions for Lee's safe return, but they have lost contact with the kidnappers and are distraught with worry. Victoria has sent out numerous agents to search for any signs of Lee or the kidnappers and their associates while she tends to her husband, who has kept himself shut away in the manor in a terrible depression, constantly worrying and praying for their son's safety.

Trivia:

  • Victoria's initial character development was more similar to the personality that her husband has currently, being more over the top and fussy and particularly distraught about Lee's kidnapping. Her current version is essentially a personality swap with Cassius, since he used to be more serious, cunning, and relentless.
  • She is somewhat aware of Naomi's mild affection toward her, but Victoria is obviously a happily married woman and makes no mention of the topic.
  • Any guests to her manor might pick up on the constantly looming threat of her potentially poisoning you at any given opportunity. She might not necessarily do so, but there’s always the possibility that she might. So be a good guest.
