Eryn Theodon

Eryn is 175cm or 5'9 in height and weighs around 90 kilogram or 198lbs. He has a dark orange skin tone close to a shade of brown. He has long, dark brown hair with a smooth flat texture that's at his mid back's length and large childlike red eyes. He has a long slim face with a thin chin, a smooth jawline, and more androgynous facial features in general. His nose is long but thin and with a small bump near the tip. He has brown coloured short horns and pointy ears.

Both shoulders and upper arms are covered in black tattoos as a part of Kestane tradition. Three concentric circles are placed on each shoulder. The outside one has wave-like spikes on it pointing upwards on his chest and downwards on his back. In the circle itself there's a small dot of open skin left at the location of every spike. The second circle is simply a circle, and so is the third circle, except this one has a curve running through it near the lower part. Between the second and the third circle dots are placed in the form of a fourth circle.

Beneath these circles on his arms, there are five lines going around his arms, forming circles as well. These lines go a little lower as the go further away from the body and connect with the start again as they get closer to the body. The first and the second line are connected by half circles going from the first to the second, with the hollow part facing the body on the front of the arm. Between the third and the fourth line, small circles form the pattern of another line. Between the fourth and the fifth line, there's again half circles connecting the two, but in the spot of the hollow part of the elbow a full circle breaks the pattern.

His clothing is traditionally Kenarii. He goes bare chested most of the time. The trousers he wears are cream in colour and are loose fit; the only place they are tight is around his waist and around the ankles. A red line runs over each hip and stops at the height of the knee in a large circle surrounded by stripes. Inside of this circle is a smaller circle. The middle of this line is broken by another circle, this time one with just a dot inside of it. Beneath the lower circle there are three horizontal lines pointed away from his body; three dots appear on a horizontal line above the upper line. He often wears bandages around his feet for warmth and around his arms for combat. He often has loose pendants hanging around his neck, those being gemstone ones and a Nacetei pendant made of wood.

Colour palette

Eryn is very caring to those who care about him. He will return respect to those who respect him, and bases his opinions on strangers on how his first meeting or influence from them. Because of this, he often has strong prejudices, but he often manages to look past them.

If anyone approaches him in a hostile way, he will gladly fight it out rather than talk about it first. When one of his friends is attacked, he acts very protective over them and will do what he can to get back to the attacker as long as they don't look like they can kick his ass. That being said, he is very confident about his powers and will rarely back down when challenged or attacked.

Eryn is an optimist as well. He tries to see the good in all events rather than all people. He acknowledges suffering and evil in the world, but always tries to see the good in the greater picture.

❖ His main specialisation is life healing. It's the one school he's working on mastering.

❖ Next to that, he also uses a combination of healing and defensive life magic to enhance his own body, turning him into a close-combat mage. His fighting style is quite unique. In order to fight, Eryn has to channel his magic through his body, strengthening his muscles, skin, bones, and mind. This he can use for melee fights. He prefers to fight unarmed, but sometimes also utilises weapons like staves and maces. Not only does he channel magic through his own body, but he also requires the energy of others to get the power-ups he needs. More enemies means more energy, meaning more power as well.

Eryn was born on the Southerner island of Kenarii and lived there for the first 15 years of his life. During these years, he was given a standard education and he picked up the skill of life magic. Among his kind, life magic is the rarest form of magic next to light magic, and his interest could not be sated with the scarce opportunities to improve in that school. After reaching his tribe's age of maturity, he got his tattoos.

At the time, he learned about the rich magical culture of the north, and he traveled all the way up to the cold Demonic Mainlands, where he was redirected to the Royal Bloodland College up east. There, he learnt how to heal, fight and defend himself using his magic.
