Gale

Gale is the observer of a world that was destroyed by a great calamity millenia ago. The events affected him greatly; he was never nice, but he stopped caring about if his greed and selfishness were hurting other people. He's in a constant hunt for more power these days, and only returns to the library when absolutely necessary. He initially started the hunt in order to revive his world, but over the centuries he has forgotten what drove him to his current path.

Gale is greedy, selfish, and profoundly self-centered. He doesn't actively seek to hurt people, but he doesn't particularly care if someone is hurt by his actions (which has caused a great deal of conflict with Aethera). He generally prefers to lurk in the shadows over openly acting. He's a bit of a gourmet, despite not needing to eat, and will go to great lengths to try some new delicacy.
