Basics
Eiichi is the kind of guy to wear toe socks and crocs, so if you thought the crocs were bad, just wait until he takes them off. Aside from that atrocity, Eiichi is the easily-distracted and rather odd gym teacher at St. Pigeonation, earning himself a rather questionable reputation. He constantly comes into his job wearing strange things, his most notable being an "I Heart Boston" shirt paired with a fanny pack and those same cursed crocs, despite having never been to Boston before.
His personality seems to heavily reflect his poor fashion choices, or perhaps the other way around. Essentially, it could be summarized with the fact that he created the "Pool Noodle Dueling Club". Eiichi tends to purposely say cryptic things or act on viral memes, yet recites the outdated ones like some kind of stereotypical dad. All that aside, he doesn't like acknowledging his own issues and uses humor to cope with everything, which makes others assume he's just apathetic when he's the exact opposite. It's almost as if the weirder he is that day, the more stressed he is.

History
Unlike Kazuaki, Eiichi was never good at school. In fact he despised school growing up with every fibre of his being, constantly trying to avoid class as much as possible. Even at a young age, he was convinced he was just dumb because he had trouble focusing and staying focused whenever he managed to do the slightest bit of work. Teachers would often get on his case, given he wasn't necessarily a quiet kid and sort of had that "class clown" trope going on, which at times caused class disruptions. Eiichi was well aware of everything he was doing, though, mostly acting out due to his frustration with school and later on, anger towards teachers since he felt like they didn't understand how he was feeling.
His parents tried to be as supportive as they could, though, while also trying to be firm since his acting out was still an issue. Eiichi mainly felt misunderstood, especially by his brother, who seemed to not even need to try when it came to school and always passed with flying colors. This continued all the way through middle school and high school, the only thing changing is that over time Eiichi stopped being as much of a troublemaker. During both his middle and high school years, he never made a lot of friends and mostly hung out with his brother when he could (since he was two years below him).
Most of his time was spent slacking off in class, since he had long since decided to stop caring about school from the countless burnouts he had as a child. He figured that he was simply not meant to be smart nor successful, and became nihilistic enough to embrace it. Eiichi dropped out of high school at sixteen, living off of multiple crappy part-time jobs in order to eventually move out and not be a burden to his parents. (might change. this is placeholder)
Present Day
Kazuaki was the one to encourage Eiichi to apply as a new gym teacher at St. Pigeonation some time after he got an English teacher job there.
