- Once a man of unbridled emotion, Aerik is now a shadow of his former self. Once, excitable, passionate and motivated, Aerik is currently busy wallowing in his own failure. He has trouble making connections with people, and tends to fantasize about his past often. Instead of moving on, Aerik is stuck in the past. Despite this, Aerik's old qualities occasionally make themselves known, showing that he still has some spark of life beneath all of this current troubles and anxieties. Aerik is surprisingly patient and gentle, and cares a lot about people, even if he has trouble showing it sometimes.
- Appearance
- Aerik is a stockier man with wide-set shoulders and narrowed hips. He's gained a decent amount of weight during the years, but has still kept himself decently fit . Aerik has a scar covering the right side of his face down to his bicep, the eye that is covered by the scar is permanently damaged and almost completely blind. He's missing 2 fingers on his left hand.
- When he was younger (-21) , Aerik was much more lean and thin, as well as not adorning the same scars and injuries he has now.
- Backstory
- During Dryas' reign as champion, Aerik as well as the rest of the neighborhood kids decided they would rise up against the champion. This was the beginning of the famous Kanto3, lead by three leaders- Juniper, Azalea, and Aerik. The three of them and their teams successfully brought Kalos into a revolution, causing a civil war that changed the way the world saw League battling. This period of three years is incredibly romanticized by Kalosian civilians , and Aerik himself, despite being a terrible period of war and suffering. Aerik sees his time as a rebellion leader as the best time of his life, and adored the attention of being recognized by all as a hero.
- This all came to an end when the kanto3 was faced with Dryas , the fight going terribly as Aerik decided to rush in. Everyone was killed in the battle except himself, his lover Leohne, and Azalea- who was horribly wounded and crippled in the battle. Aerik got his scar in this battle, permanently disfigured by Dryas. Juniper ended up sacrificing herself to protect Aerik, which caused Aerik to walk out and plan on never speaking to his friends again.
- Azalea, despite being crippled, took up her role as the new champion of Kalos. Aerik moved to Lumiose city, letting guilt and shame overtake his life for twenty years.
- Name Leohne Saha
- Aerik's boyfriend during the kanto3 period. They fell in love shortly after banning together, and Aerik and Leohne planned on marrying after the war ended.
- During the champion fight, Aerik left Leohne alone in a room full of his presumably dead friends, and never looked back. They have not spoken in twenty years. Aerik actively thinks about Leohne, and wonders how he's been, as Leohne as the only surviving member of the kanto3 who has somehow successfully avoided all media attention and isnt really heard of. Leohne's cryptic status in Kalosian society is a point of interest for Aerik.
- Leohne, on the other hand, is spiteful towards Aerik for abandoning him. Though, it is still quite obvious Leohne cares about him, and gets defensive when people insult Aerik.
- Name Juniper and Azalea
- Juniper and Azalea were Aerik's best friends growing up, as well as his closest teammates. Aerik considered both of them family.
- Juniper being a naturally outgoing person, took care of Aerik when they were kids due to Aerik's abusive father. Juniper introduced Aerik and Azalea, and it was all downhill from there. The three became inseparable, and their bond was incredibly close. The three, despite having a naturally bickering and playful relationship, were fiercely protective of each other.
- They behaved much like siblings, and it was often said the three brought out the absolute best in eachother.
- Juniper's death completely ruined Aerik, his guilt tore him apart as he blamed himself for her death. After being practically abandoned, Azalea grew incredibly hateful towards Aerik, though it is still clear she cares about him in some way. Aerik misses both of them greatly.

- ● Aerik's design is based off of fighter pilots!
- ● His mother was a shiny, and Aerik still carries some of the uncommon color traits with him ( Red eyes, certain black scales)
- ● Aerik was the second character who was officially designed for Knell.
